The library provides a welcoming environment for all students, faculty and staff. It offers a diverse collection of print and digital resources including books, periodicals, newspapers, eBooks and databases.
Students are provided with wireless access to the internet for use with their Chromebooks. In addition, the library provides desktop computers, printers, a comfortable seating area, several tables, a digital whiteboard and a computer lab.
Library cards are not needed! Materials may be borrowed by seeing the librarian at the circulation desk.
The loan period is 2 weeks, but items may be renewed. The library does not charge late fees. If an item is not returned, the replacement cost is billed to the student's account.
Students must adhere to the guidelines of the BHR Acceptable Computer Use Policy, located in the current version of the BHR Parent Student Handbook.
The Thomas F. Mellett Memorial Library is named after one of our beloved English teachers who passed away in 2002. Mr. Mellett was a strong advocate of the importance and value of a school's library.
